Does this tool upload my image?: No. File validation, image decoding, resizing, and download preparation all happen locally in your browser.
Why is the output always WebP?: This first version uses a fixed WebP output at 80% quality to keep the workflow simple and efficient. WebP also supports transparent pixels for compatible source images.
What does locking the aspect ratio do?: With the lock on, changing the width calculates a proportionate height and changing the height calculates a proportionate width. Turn it off when you intentionally need independent dimensions.
