What version of UUID does this tool create?
This generator creates RFC 4122 version 4 UUIDs using your browser’s cryptographically secure random source.
Is my UUID sent to a server?
No. UUID generation happens entirely in your browser, and no identifier is sent anywhere.
Why can’t I copy the UUID?
Clipboard access needs a secure browser context and your permission. You can always select the readonly UUID field and copy it manually.
